The origins of this book lay in a workshop held in Tokyo in February 2012. This event was organized and hosted by the School of International Liberal Studies, Waseda University and the Institute for Sustainability and Peace, United Nations University (UNU-ISP), with the support of the global Cities Research Institute, RMIT University.
