The seminar was organized by UNESCO and UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Programme (MAB) with support from International Centre for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) and UNU. A paper presented by Dr. Adeed and Prof. Kobori, UNU entitled "Approaches towards the integration of land-management practices: UNU's experience in networking and capacity development" pp. 10-13.
