The purpose of this book is to explain the practicalities of Russian peacekeeping - its purpose is not to supply a definitive description of the entire peacekeeping process in Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Moldova, and Tajikistan. The accounts focus on the operational procedures, doctrine, and military approach in several different theatres.
